17 lip MY BEAUTY ROUTINE
Simona Antonovic is one of the biggest make-up artists in Croatia, and she recently welcomed me in the ‘Beauty routine by…’ section on her website, where I revealed all of my favourite products I can’t live without of.
I don’t have a specific beauty routine, but as most women – I do own certain products that have become irreplaceable in my daily life. I usually keep my make-up quite simple, with a natural and airy foundation (I use only a BB cream by Bioderma for my daily look), a bit of pink blush, some black eyeliner which I still haven’t perfected and a pop of colour with my favourite pink lipstick. I always carry my Artdeco concealer and at least one of the many pink shades of Golden Rose’s lipsticks in my bag as they are the only products that can freshen me up after a long working day. When it comes to evening looks, I put on the Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation and finish it off with the deliciously pink Zac Posen for Mac lipstick in colour danger. Chanel’s Hydramax +Active serum also becomes part of my routine from time to time.
In terms of hygiene, I’m currently in love with Lush’s scented soaps as well as the Made-in-Croatia Pyrus soaps (which are actually made in my hometown Čakovec), and as for the after-shower habit – Nivea’s blue body milk has been on my bathroom shelf for ages. I love changing shampoos as new scents get me excited, but a permanent act in that department is definitely the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle hair mask that’s just about perfect for my naturally curly and dry hair.
Perfumes are definitely a passion of mine, especially the ones that smell like sweet candy. Cacharel’s Amor Amor has been on my dresser table for at least ten years and is a definite favourite, while the See by Chloé is a close second. The black version of Marc Jacob’s Daisy is another front-runner – both due to the adorable packaging and its long-lasting scent.
